The Returned
Book 2 of The Revenant Veil Series
From the twisted imagination of horror author David Amey comes the next descent into madness — a sequel that will leave you shocked, disturbed, and unable to look away.
All Lucy wanted was a quiet life and a chance to build her new business. All Ben wanted was to guide his cult and raise his master from the depths of the underworld.
But neither of them counted on Constance. Murdered centuries ago, her name whispered only among those who knew the truth, Constance has clawed her way back into the world of the living. A sorceress of terrifying power, she seeks only one thing: revenge. And she will unleash blood, torture, death, and devastation upon anyone foolish enough to stand in her path.
As her wrath spreads across Dorset, the events of Splitting Man twist into something even darker. No one is safe. No one is spared. And no one will escape what Constance has become.
Graphic, relentless, and utterly unhinged, The Returned is a supernatural roller coaster that drags you screaming from page to page.
Once you enter her world, there is no turning back.
The threat is here.
And she is watching.
This book is almost finished. I am in the final editing stages.
Let me know your thoughts.
COMING JULY 11th 2026
This is a book that is very dear to my heart. It is a collection of short stories that I began to write with my Dad before he died.
I have all of the stories he wrote, and I am slowly putting together my own for the collection. It is a book that I did not think I would finish, but it is now taking shape.
There is a going to be a real mixture in this one. Scary, funny, psychological, and just plane strange. Hopefully something for everyone from two different generations and styles.
I can't wait to share this one with you, I am aiming for a Halloween release.
Again, I welcome your thoughts and comments. Use the Contact form or Email me.
Blood of the Firstborn
A New Vision of Vampire Mythology
Before the birth of Christ, long before human history learned to write its own name, the vampire clans were already at war.
Across centuries and continents, their battles have shaped empires, toppled kingdoms, and carved secrets into the bones of the earth. Brutal, unflinching, and steeped in ancient mystery, this is the true story of the creatures humanity has only ever whispered about.
At the heart of their conflict lies a prophecy — one that speaks of a vampire born with limitless power, a being destined either to unite the clans… or to annihilate them all. As rival bloodlines rise and fall, alliances fracture, and betrayals ignite like wildfire, every clan hunts for the one who could change the fate of their world forever.
From desert temples and forgotten tombs to medieval battlegrounds and the shadows of the modern age, this saga tears away the romantic veneer and exposes vampires as they truly are: ruthless, ancient predators locked in a relentless struggle for dominance.
War. Power. Conquest.
And a darkness older than humanity itself.
This is not the vampire story you think you know.
This is the beginning of everything.
This is so far only a part written novel. I have a long way to go on this one. This is my take on the Vampire mythology, it's going to be a little different. I am very excited about this one, I will post more about it when I can. I may post an excerpt soon.
As always, tell me your thoughts. Do you love or hate vampires. Do you crave for something a little different? Does it interest you?
Outside the quiet town of Eldranthia, high up above the world, nestled between mist-covered mountains and enchanted forests, there stood a mysterious library. Nobody knew who built it, only that it had always been there. It had become known as the Astralis Sanctum. Legend had it that the library contained books imbued with ancient magic, each holding secrets of the past, present, and future. No one knew who the librarian was, she was a figure shrouded in as much mystery as the library itself, but she was always there among the books helping and advising the readers who ventured inside. People who wondered its vast halls would say that the library seemed to have a mind of its own, guiding those who sought its knowledge. Almost as if the library and the librarian were one.
As ancient prophecies awaken and rival factions vie for control of Eldranthia’s most dangerous magic, Emara is thrust into a battle that spans realms, tests loyalties, and forces her to confront the power she fears most — the one burning inside her.
Emara must decide what she is willing to sacrifice to protect the world she loves. As Emara rises to defend Astralis from the gathering darkness, the library records another presence, the most dangerous, moving through the realm… a force long thought lost to myth, now awakened with vengeance in her veins. Her message is carved into the very fabric of prophecy: “I am doom, I am all. I am Loviatar, and I am coming for you.”
While Emara fights to safeguard her world, the library writes faster, the shadows grow deeper, and the truth becomes impossible to ignore — some stories are written to save a realm, and some are written to end it.
Because in Eldranthia, heroes are not born.
They are forged.
This novel will be me taking a swim in the lake of Fantasy. But, I will be blending it with my own dark twists that will keep the pages turning.
This book has come about by a dare for me to write something a little different by one of my Sister-in-Laws. Be careful what you wish for!
This book is still a year or more away, but it is taking shape.
What do you think of a horror/fantasy hybrid? Do you think from the blurb that it has the potential for you to read it?
Book 3 in The Revenant Veil Series.
Have you read Splitting man yet?
Are you looking forward to The Returned?
Unfortunately this book is still a good couple of years away. I would give you some information on it, but I don't want to ruin anything from The Returned.
What I will say is I am upping the stakes, old characters return and new ones arrive. Trust and loyalty are things you cannot believe in.
One character, long dead, will be back.
This time, I am going darker than ever before.
The Veil is in tatters, war is upon us, and absolutely no-one is safe.
Again, not a lot of info here, but if you do want to comment or ask anything, contact me.
